5-10 October 2010
Welcome to lichfield literature This year we continue to expand our programme not only with more authors but also with tea, cake, Danish pastries and the odd glass of wine or two. We welcome Liz Kessler as our first Author in Residence and our first children’s author. We also mark National Poetry Day, Children’s Book Week and the anniversaries of Elizabeth Gaskell, Agatha Christie, Galileo and Roald Dahl. If you’re looking for something more participatory, we have our first Literary Quiz Night and a new series of creative writing talks to help you on the way to your own author event in a few years time!
So join us in celebrating our fifth birthday in style with politicians, actors, scientists, comedians and historians, keeping Lichfield’s literary heritage well and truly alive. I look forward to seeing you there.
