Visit to Bletchley Park
Saturday 9 June 2012
The LFA is delighted to have been able to arrange a visit to Bletchley Park, the centre for WW2 decoding of enemy transmissions, where Alan Turing and others developed pioneering equipment which was the foundation for our modern computers. The importance of the work there both for the course of WW2 and for the computer revolution in the second half of the 20th century is hard to exaggerate, and this promises to be a visit of exceptional interest.
