We hope the move goes well, Jen, and carry on the great work you are doing. The way in which every thing has developed and expanded since you joined the Festival team is miraculous!!

At the beginning of chapter 9 (O my America), there is a serious error in American - British history. He mentions the Seven Years War, 1756 to 1763. In the description he has the colonists fighting against British troops and Indian allies. This is completely wrong. That war (in the colonies, which started in 1754) was between the British empire (including colonists) and the French empire. Indians were present on both sides.

It was only after the war was over that Great Britain and the colonies started falling out - leading to the American revolution.

My 92 year old mother was at Bletchley Park during the war and was in the Ops room in charge of many women who all were plotting etc. She is still alive and still has good recollection of the times during the War.

My mother (Lady Lloyd) is hoping to make a trip to England to see where it all happened now that it is opened to the public.

We live in Victoria, Australia and I think someone should write her story which would be first hand information.

Yours sincerely
Judith Kent
Melbourne.

What a surprise111..I just heared a talk show on Dubai Eye radio station in UAE about the same book and the proposed movie based on Tim Jeal manscript.
they also called the author Tim Jeal in London and the comments by him were so interested.

I am so entusiastic to have the book and the movie as well.

Thanks to the kind donation of my mum (who lives in Lichfield), Jigsow (a beautiful pink pig with lovely long eyelashes and jigsaw pieces on her!) now lives at Branston Junior School, in Lincolnshire!
Jigsow can be found in the school's reception area and has become linked to our School's Code of Conduct, with special Jigsow certificates being handed out to children each week who demonstrate care or respect towards others.

Thank you to The Jigsaw Community Hub (Lichfield) for painting such a lovely pig......Jigsow is much loved!
