Festival Office Volunteers Required Festival Volunteers Manager (Closing date for applications: 2nd December) During our Festivals, we have many volunteers who help out at our events (with duties such as ticket checking, programme selling, stewarding etc) and we require a strong minded person to co-ordinate that team.  This will involve; an initial recruitment drive, liaising with current volunteers listed on the festival database to attain their availability, liaising with staff members as to what volunteer duties are needed, creating and distributing a volunteer rota, and generally being the first point of contact for all volunteers.  This role can partly be undertaken from your own home (if you wish), just coming into the office as and when needed.  Our volunteers are the heart of the Festival and we could not put on the events without them so it is essential that you have good people skills and preferably experience of managing people. Time Commitment:  from early January – mid July 3-4hrs/week (flexible) but would need to be available for most of the time during the actual festivals. Please apply in writing  (stating which volunteer job you are interested in) to: Lichfield Festival, Donegal House, Bore Street, Lichfield, WS13 6NE or via email to: info@lichfieldfestival.org
