Children’s author Ross Montgomery published his first novel for young readers in 2013 and will be presenting his fifth book at this year’s Festival. Ross’ work has already been nominated for The Carnegie Medal, the Costa Award and the Branford Brose Award, and he is listed in the Sunday Times’ “100 Best Modern Children’s Classics”.
This interactive workshop session is aimed specifically at adults who wish to write for children. You will explore the techniques of engaging a young readership, identify the problems and pitfalls and explore the world of getting published.
