Tabea Debus is currently Meaker Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music and 2016 CMF Artist. Performances have taken her to renowned European venues, festivals including London Festival of Baroque Music and York Early Music Festival, and as far as Japan, Singapore and the USA. She was chosen to join the Handel House Talent 2016/17 and SJSS Young Artist 2015/16 Schemes and recently appeared live on BBC Radio 3 In Tune and the Early Music Show.  She plays a recital of musical treats from Telemann, Johann Sebastian Bach and Handel, arranged herself for the recorder, alongside three new world premiere pieces arranged especially for the Lichfield Festival.

She plays with a beautiful sense of musical line and phrasing, wearing her obvious virtuosity lightly, and producing results that are first and foremost musical.
