Jon Lord
As organist with the group Deep Purple, Jon Lord was a pioneer in exploring where classical music and progressive rock overlap. Joe Stilgoe Trio
He picked up an ear for a good tune and lyrics from his father Richard, and his voice and musicality from his opera singer mother, but Joe is very much his own man and takes entertainment very seriously indeed. He paid his dues playing every tune he knew in everypossible key on his first job on a cruise ship, but now he has hit the big time with sell-outruns at Ronnie Scott’s and Michael Parkinson among his famous fans.
