Volunteering at the Lichfield Festival gave me an excellent experience of many kinds of music and enabled me to gain experience from many different people in the music industry.  Lichfield was a great source of inspiration for my future studying and career.

About

The Lichfield Festival relies on Volunteers to ensure the smooth running of events throughout the year.  Each year over 120 people aged from 16-80 join us to help make the Festival what it is.

If you are passionate about the arts, would like to help meet and look after artists, assist with event and stage management, work backstage, help out with the education projects, work on targeted publicity drives, meet sponsors, or give a helping hand with front-of-house or general administration, we would love to hear from you. Volunteering is a great way to have fun, make new friends, gain new skills and gather valuable references and accreditation to boost your cv.

I volunteered at the Lichfield Festival during my time as a music student at University.  The experience was invaluable, and it helped reinforce my desire to pursue a career in the arts. I have been working in artist management at Askonas Holt since 1985 and I’m sure my experience at the Lichfield Festival gave me a distinct advantage early in my career.
