CORONA VIRUS UPDATE :

It is with much sadness that we have taken the decision to postpone our literature festival. Given current conditions and advice, we want to ensure that all our audiences, authors, volunteers and staff remain as healthy as possible and we feel it is our duty and responsibility to protect others by not proceeding with our events at this time.

We are currently investigating options for rescheduling events and ask that you bear with us in the meantime whilst we talk with different venues and authors. We are also in talks with our box office - run externally - and appreciate your patience whilst we finalise information for those who have purchased tickets for events due to take place at the end of March. We will keep you informed as soon as we have further information.

Thank you all for your continued support - as a charity we rely so much on income from our audiences and sponsors to keep running and hope that, however uncertain the future is at present, we can continue to bring high-quality, inspiring multi-arts experiences to the Midlands.

Things are starting to pick up pace here at Festival HQ, with only 9 days to go until the festival starts it’s all very busy! Today marketing have started setting up shop in the Three Spires shopping centre. It might not look all that exciting now, but just you wait! The Marketing team have been hard at work crafting and creating lots of exciting decorations ready to bedeck the shop and it’s windows. As well as that, during the festival you’ll be able to come by and visit us with any of your festival questions, come and find out about our events and be a part of our art installation! Make sure to come by and say hello during the festival!

Not only that, but there are plenty of other exciting things happening this week and next. Next week our festival hares and tortoises will be making their way out in to the big wide world, ready for you to hunt out! On top of that, if you’re in Lichfield this Saturday, make sure to keep an eye out for our team, as they may well have some surprising, Regency guests with them…

Finally, if you’re still not decided on what to come and see at the festival the Birmingham Mail has compiled a list of the top ten things acts we have on!
