It is with much sadness that we have taken the decision to postpone our literature festival. Given current conditions and advice, we want to ensure that all our audiences, authors, volunteers and staff remain as healthy as possible and we feel it is our duty and responsibility to protect others by not proceeding with our events at this time.

We are currently investigating options for rescheduling events and ask that you bear with us in the meantime whilst we talk with different venues and authors. We are also in talks with our box office - run externally - and appreciate your patience whilst we finalise information for those who have purchased tickets for events due to take place at the end of March. We will keep you informed as soon as we have further information.

Thank you all for your continued support - as a charity we rely so much on income from our audiences and sponsors to keep running and hope that, however uncertain the future is at present, we can continue to bring high-quality, inspiring multi-arts experiences to the Midlands.

Individual Giving

There are many ways in which you can support the Lichfield Festival’s annual programme of events and Learning and Participation Activities.

Make a Donation

Lichfield Festival is a registered charity (No. 512201) and we are appreciative of any fundraising donations that are offered to us.  You can donate towards our general ongoing costs or towards a specific event or project in our annual programme.  Your donation could support

A local school or group participating in one of our ASPIRE! Learning and Participation projects

A student intern working on a placement in the Festival Office

Purchasing equipment for the Festival Office or Projects

Our Marketing and Promotional activities throughout the year

And much more!

Support an Event

Why not become a private sponsor of one of our Festival events? Whether your passion lies in classical music or comedy, theatre or dance, your donation can help to bring the best emerging and professional talent in the business to perform in Lichfield.  Currently our private donors sponsor both as individuals and join together with friends to sponsor as a group.

For advance details on events available to Sponsor in our 2018 Programme please contact our Development Manager Dawn Markwell.

Join the Spotlight Scheme

The Lichfield Festival is committed to bringing the very best in music and arts entertainment to Lichfield. From world-class orchestras and soloists to those emerging performers at the very start of their performance career, we provide a platform to showcase the wealth of talent present in the UK and further afield.

Being a Spotlight donor puts you at the heart of this commitment as a supporter of the best and brightest talent in the Lichfield Festival.  For a minimum donation of £50 you can support two events in the annual Festival programme and help the Lichfield Festival to continue its work in celebrating performance excellence.  In return for your donation we are able to offer priority booking for Spolight events and invitation to a VIP reception during the Festival. The two selected events – including one in the Cathedral – for Lichfield Festival 2018 will be announced once the programme is fully finalised.  Your donation will support the costs of supporting the performers and any additional outreach work that they bring to Lichfield.

For further information on how to get involved in the scheme and the benefits involved please contact Dawn Markwell at the Festival Office on 01543 306270 or [email protected]
